Diversnight is an international night dive event, where divers around the world starts the dive at the specific time (local time). Everyone can participate and you can register your group on the Diversnight event web page. The purpose of the event is to emphasize the social aspect of diving. People are encouraged to spend time together after the dive and to have some delicious cake. Last year 1763 divers from 22 countries participated and 167 different dive sites were registered.
This year the event was held 20:15 on Saturday 7th November 2015 and also Malta participated with four excited divers. The dive site was Zurrieq which was a very good choice for a night dive. Here's some footage from the dive.
